History - Beautiful notes for chapter 4 (Henry Hudson and Samuel Champlain)
Writing - Make revisions to your personal narrative draft. (I had time to go through about half of them today, and students made comments on eachother's papers. I sent an email today with some guidelines I use for making paper revisions, so you can use that method at home if you wish)
DUE THURSDAY
History - Read and take notes over the second half of Chapter 5.
Writing - Finish revisions and start making edits.
TODAY
History - This week we're watching an nicely made BBC drama/documentary that covers the chapter students reading about the rise of Tokugawa as Japan's Shogun. It's a well made piece, derived from written records of the time and filmed in authentic castles from the period. You can view it here:
